Mini bridge

Mini Bridge is a fast trick-taking card game with one twist that changes everything: you don’t win by taking the most tricks. You win by predicting exactly how many you’ll take.

Every round deals a different number of cards — one in the first round, two in the second, all the way up and back down again. After the deal, each player calls their number. Hit it exactly and you score. Miss by one, in either direction, and you lose points. Hearts are permanent trump, so a single low heart can steal a trick from an ace.

The dealer bids last and is never allowed to make the numbers add up, which means the table is always short or long. Someone is going to be forced to take a trick they don’t want, or come up empty on one they promised. That tension is the whole game.

Play against the computer, or open a table and invite up to three friends. If someone drops out, a bot takes their seat until they come back.
